Shooting Stability Specifically Designed for Blind Hunting
Designed specifically for blind hunting, the Axis Tripod uses less than 1/2 the floor space of competitor tripods – allowing for more equipment & shooting coverage in the tight confines of a blind where inches make the difference.
Weighing 50% less than competitor tripods, the Axis Tripod makes packing & carrying your hunting kit to your blind easier than ever. The Axis collapses down to 25″ & extends up to 40″ tall.
The tripod’s clamp-on design allows for use with both crossbows & firearms. Keep your crossbow trained on your game with the ability to take your weapon from locked to full traverse with only a quarter-turn of the lock-knob.
Like our crossbows, every detail of this tripod has been designed to make your hunt more successful. While in the blind, the included “hunt hammock” keeps key items like your rangefinder or calls in easy reach.
After the shot, use the built-in compass to make a note of the direction the animal traveled!

Axis tripod mostly great
I purchased the tripod for crossbow hunting and to dial in my new Wicked Ridge M370. Its not as sturdy as sandbags but did ok sighting in at 20 yards, i switched to sandbags for 40 yards. I put a 5lb weight on the netting for stability and that worked great- i will use their weight hook to stake it to the ground in my hunting blind. The round bubble level is great for initial setup: to make sure the tripod is balanced. The bubble level on the vice holding the bow is useless: almost impossible to get the bow to go in that grip level: the stock on the crossbow doesn't hold upright in the clamping grip. Best to have that level on your bow scope. The ball adjustment is awesome! I can balance and level my bow and lock it in place and it balances great. I can mostly lock it and still have some movement in the ball so i can adjust and shoot without messing with the adjustment knob. I can leave my bow in the clamp and it stays in position. I thought the narrow base would be a balance problem: but it worked great-no tipping at all. I imagine the compass best use will be for wind direction Nice product
