Tenpoint Dropped the Ball
Tenpoint dropped the ball on this one. For as nice as the TX 440 is I am surprised that the cheek piece isn't swappable/removable with screws. The extended cheek piece comes in two parts: one base with adhesive that sticks to the stock, one riser that screws into the base you just stuck on. Seems solid enough at least initially but I ended up taking it off. The Garmin scope is only a little higher off the rail than the scope that came with the bow, but the cheek piece adds so much additional height that it puts my line of sight too far above the eye piece of the Garmin to be comfortable. Lesson learned, dry fit it first if you're thinking of getting this so you don't mess with the adhesive if you don't like it. As usual Wyvern is the best and got this to me quick, fast, and in a hurry. It just doesn't work for me.
